Recently Panasonic has announced its impressive 145-Inch 8K plasma HDTV, which puts the company in the position of being the maker of the world’s largest TV.

Panasonic have been working with NHK (a Japanese broadcaster) and have developed a new drive method for the TV by scanning the pixels vertically to achieve a high quality uniform picture with no flicker, which is common on large high resolution displays. It is also the world’s first self-illuminating 8k HDTV.
