Fascinating cooking-strainer street art

You can make everything with everything. That’s what Isaac Cordal has done and thus has caught the attention of many in the world of art and popular culture. The idea seems ‘elementary’ but the execution of it needs talent and skill, particularly because these shapes come to life only if they are seen from a particular angle.

So he has carefully pushed and modeled faces into common household colanders. Then projected the shadow onto the street. The results are inspiring. His main concept is to try to make projections using the resources of city lights at night. Who needs a gallery or a studio? Awesome.
