In the course of history, the Persian Empire has been extensively mapped by well-known cartographers of the world. However, the absence of a good carto-bibliography with adequate descriptions of such maps has always been deeply felt not only by scholars but by friends of the history and geography of Persia as well.

miss usa 2012

On Sunday night in Las Vegas, Olivia Culpo put the pint-sized state of Rhode Island on the map as she was crowned Miss USA 2012.
According to her profile on the Miss USA website, the 20-year-old beauty queen is currently a star Boston University sophomore, who lands on the Dean's List every semester. The 20-year-old brunette is also a talented cellist and has nabbed spots in several New England-based ensembles and orchestras.

3 Sexy Victoria's Secret Angels at the mall
Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton look fabulous and as usual, the only thing better than a nice set of photos of one of these beautiful ladies is a set of photos of the three of them together. They're stunning and genuinely look to enjoy each other's company. Looks can be deceiving, of course, but I don't think that's the case here. I never see photos of them hanging together off the set but they at least look to be close when the cameras are snapping away and I like that. They don't try to show each other up which is probably good. They're all equally beautiful in their own ways.

Norwegian prison Bastoy is probably the best prison on Earth
Bastoy island is one of those places you’d see on a postcard and want to travel to. However, this is not exactly a travel destination. Not for you or me, anyway.
The entire island is a prison and it’s home to 115 people. Among them are rapists, killers and other criminals. But unlike other prisons, Bastoy prison does not break people. On the opposite, it makes them better.
The main responsibility of prisoners is labour. They must work from 8.30 to 15.30. Each prisoner earns $10 per day and can spend the money in a local grocery shop.
No prisoner can leave the island during their terms. Having served the term to the full, the prisoners leave the island. After that, statistically only 16% of these people would commit another crime. 84% of prisoners come out as better people and never commit crimes again.
